Also, the urea is incredibly corrosive to the fuel system hoses and seals and is susceptible to crystalising, obstructing injectors and fuel filters.

If you find you have put AdBlue into a fuel tank drain it at once. And absolutely never switch on the car - not even to move it off of the pump. If you have started the car you will very likely need to have the full fuel system flushed and fuel filters changed out.

Fuel contaminated with water

Fuel contaminated with water, regardless of whether it's unleaded or diesel, is undoubtedly a significant situation to address in a vehicle - especially in more modern common-rail engines.
